The Indian Wells Country Club Community (IWCCC) FAMD #1 contracts with Universal Protection Service to provide 24/7 Gate Access Control and Security Services.

Universal Protection Service follows the IWCCC FAMD #1 Standard Orders and Procedures for Security Services adopted by the FAMD #1 Board of Directors on May 14, 2015. Their duties include, but are not limited to the following:

Operation and enforcement of the FAMD’s a system of entrance control to the IWCCC property.

Provide a roving patrol of the IWCCC property 24 / 7

Discover and detain persons attempting to gain unauthorized access to the property.

Respond to and report on any and all safety hazards and/or emergency situations to the appropriate agency.

Issue warnings and/or take the allowed actions for violation of the following State of California Vehicle Codes and City of Indian Wells Municipal Codes:

• Unsafe and/or excessive vehicle speed
• Failing to come to a full stop at a stop sign
• Unsafe operation of a motor vehicle / golf cart
• Underage vehicle / golf cart operator
• Parking in a prohibited and/or no parking zone
• Use of a non-electric powered leaf blowers
• Dog (s) running at large
• City of Indian Wells noise ordinance
• City of Indian Wells sign ordinance for real estate and other signs

Monitor and enforce the limitation of service contractors, construction and/or landscape maintenance activities as follows:

• Monday – Friday 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Saturday – 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Sunday – No Construction or landscape maintenance activities allowed
• National Holidays – No Construction or landscape maintenance activities allowed (New Year’s Day, President’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day. Observance of these holidays may vary depending upon the day on which the holiday falls.)

Note:Written Code/Ordinance warnings will be forwarded to the FAMD Board and/or the City of Indian Wells Code enforcement Officer for possible further action. Service Contractors who have been given multiple warnings may be denied access to the IWCCC property.
